1. Why do we have to enter the Experience, Salary and Location information about the job?

Feedback from jobseekers shows that the Job Title, Work experience, Salary, and Location are the most important things they look for in deciding the suitability of the job. Jobseekers prefer this information to be mentioned upfront. This is important because some jobseekers receive more than 50 recruiter contacts in a week.

2. Is it mandatory to mention the Experience, Salary and Location information about the job?

No, it is not mandatory. This is presented on top of the email to help jobseekers take a quicker and better decision to respond to your emails.

3. Why do we have to enter the Experience and Salary of the candidates to whom the email is to be sent to?

Experience and Salary are used to send targeted mails to relevant candidates. A search without entering any experience or salary range may also include candidates irrelevant to your requirement. To save your time, Experience and the Salary entered in the Resdex search form are pre-filled here.

4. Is it mandatory to enter the Experience and Salary of the candidates to whom the email is to be sent to?

Yes. While this is mandatory, there is no limit to the Experience or Salary range you can enter. The system, however, warns you if you enter a very broad range by mistake. This is just to assist you to take a conscious choice on whom to send the email to. Naukri recommends that you enter experience and salary in the search itself. Experience and Salary entered in the Resdex search form are pre-filled here and then the emails are sent to all the candidates selected from the search result page.

5. Are the Experience and Salary entered disclosed to candidates?

No, this information is not disclosed to candidates at all. Please see the preview of the mail of how the mail will look to jobseekers.

6. Is there a limit on the range of Experience and Salary of the candidates?

No, there is no limit to the Experience or Salary range you can enter. If you are not too sure about the experience or salary range of the candidates, or you are open about it, you can enter any range. The system, however, warns you if you enter a very broad range by mistake. This is just to assist you to take a conscious choice on whom to send the email to.

7. How will this help recruiters?

Jobseekers become members of Naukri.com to be contacted with relevant jobs and vacancies. When they receive mails that contain irrelevant jobs or jobs with incomplete details, they may stop responding to even relevant jobs. 8. Would my quota get deducted for those candidates whom the mails were not sent out to?

No, quota would only be deducted for those candidates who matched the search criterion specified.
