Introducing Branded Mailers in Resdex

We have added a new type of mailers – Branded Emails in Resdex. Please find the details below –

What are Branded Emails?

  • Branded Emails are a new variant of emails with option to add the client/company Logo in the mailers for a more personalized mail
  • Branded Emails are currently available in two new themes – Style 1 and Style 2
  • These will be available for Resdex users basis additional top up subscription. ( currently available for Resdex Quota Based Subscriptions only)

How can you avail Branded Mailers ?

  • Branded Emails are separate from Emails which are currently available in Resdex i.e. they have their separate Quota and Top-ups.
  • Branded Emails are also available with Resdex Premium 1 year and 6 month subscriptions by default.
    • Resdex Premium 1 year Subscription comes with 35000 Branded Mailers
    • Resdex Premium 6 month Subscription comes with 17500 Branded Mailers
  • Additionally, you can get Branded Emails  as Top-Ups for Resdex Users (apart from UBR users and Location/Industry Based Resdex Users)


How do recruiters use Branded Emails? 

  1. User with branded email Quota can select candidates from Search Result Pages in Resdex and click on “Send Email” option
  2. Enter the details in the Create Email Page and click on Preview button at the bottom of the page
  3. In the Preview lightbox, user has the option to choose the theme of the mail.
  4. There are three themes available currently, namely Default, Style 1 and Style 2.
  5. User can select any of these themes to send their emails. By default, the Default theme is selected.

Default Text Emails without Logo (current emails) Email Quota

Logo Selection

  1. When the user selects Theme as Style 1 or Style 2, then the user can select a logo to be attached with the mail.
  2. If the client has already saved logo with Naukri, then the saved logo is selected by default.
  3. In case the client has multiple logos saved, the default logo (as has been chosen by the super-user) is selected by default.
  4. In case the client has no logo attached, then the Naukri logo is attached with the mail.

To add logos,

  1. Users can send their logos to [ Logo should be of dimension 130 (width) X 60 (height) ]
  2. Once added, Super-users can change the default logo from the Product Setting Page


How do recruiters manage their Branded Email Quota?

  • Sub-user can see their own Branded Email Usage and Quota Release from MNR (My Naukri Recruiter) Homepage (same as CV Access and Emails)
  • Super-user can see overall Branded Email Usage related information from the MNR Homepage (same as CV Access and Emails)
  • Super-user can also manage the Branded Email weekly/monthly release from the Manage Quota Page ( same as CV Access and Emails)

Q1. Can UBR users send Branded Mailers?

A1.       No. Currently Branded Mailers are available with Resdex Quota Based Subscriptions only.

Q2. If a client has both Email and Branded Email Quota, how does the sub-user choose which one to use?

A2.       If the sub-user uses Default Theme for sending RMJs then Email Quota is deducted. If the sub-user uses any other theme (except Default) for sending RMJs then Branded Email Quota is deducted

Q3. What happens if the sub-user uses a theme other than Default for sending RMJs but does not have enough Branded Email Quota in his/her account?

A3.       RMJs will not be send. Sub-user will get an error message stating that there are not enough quota for performing the action
